Apple iPhone 5 Not Use NCF Features?

Based on news from Independet in the UK, Apple has informed the mobile service providers in Europe that the next generation iPhone will not use technology called Near Field Communication (NFC). Apple does not want to use and introduce this technology because there is no clear standard for this technology among the industry players.
