Local residents disapointed with Tom Cruise's wedding

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes fulfilled their Scientology nuptials Saturday night in the Lakeside town of Bracciano outside of Rome, Italy but not everyone is happy. Local town residents who were at first excited that their small town was now known the world over are upset at what they call 'The invisible wedding' and 'Tom & Katie: the newly-wed ghosts.' Local residents and fans of the couple had gathered outside the 15th-century castle where the wedding was to take place hoping to catch a glimpse of the Hollywood couple but all they could see where the endless amounts of black Mercedes minivans and limousines with tinted windows. Residents were further displeased when Tom and Katie left without so much as a wave or a gesture to the waiting crowd.

Someone should have filled these locals in on typical Tom Cruise behavior. Cruise goes to great lengths to keep his private life private and only makes appearances when it's beneficial for his career (like this wedding) and just because this private wedding was held in the public eye doesn't mean it is going be any different from all other things Cruise handles.
