Hooters, the 'delightfully tacky, yet unrefined' restaurant made famous for its' busty female waitresses has some competition. Not one, but two new restaurants are ready to chip away at Hooters key demographic; men who like to drink beer and look at scantily clad women. Hawaiian Tropics, the company famous for making sunscreen, has just opened an eatery in Times Square (launched by Petra Nemcova) where Miss Hawaiian Tropic beauty pageant winners will serve food in mini-sarongs. Not one to miss out on an opportunity sell his daughter's body, Joe Simpson has announced plans to open a restaurant where waitresses wear the 'Daisy Duke' shorts that Jessica wore for the film The Dukes of Hazzard. God help us.
