South Korean Floods carry A New Threat -- Foreign Policy

My Comment:
My South Korean contacts are all saying the same thing (my Godfather is South Korean who has extensive contacts in South Korea that I am always quoting in this blog) .... they have zero confidence in President Obama, and they do not believe that in the event of war, President Obama will commit the tens of thousands of necessary troops to protect the South. Are they right? The bugger is that I do not know, and that is the crux of the problem. Hence all of this talk about maybe developing their own nuclear arsenal to counter the arsenal (that they believe) is up north. Fortunately, talking about it is different from doing it .... and I can only hope that this is where it will stay.
